Sunday

Seriously, so much drool!

He likes to blow bubbles.

"Mom, I am so over your camera."
A slightly cranky, but still adorable, Max! We are getting excited to see his daddy!

What we have been up to!

Life has been hectic for at least 2/3 of the B family (I can't speak for the other 1/3) so here is a little bit about what we have been up to...
  • Shopping, washing, and packing clothes for our upcoming Hawaii trip. I cannot tell you how adorable Max is in swimming trunks. Get excited to see future pictures because I can't even handle all the adorableness.

Here is a preview of the adorableness that is to come!
  • We have been spending lots of time cuddling with family and friends.
  • Max fits in well in Idaho!
    I love my Grandpa!

Trying to make Aunt Lo's ankle feel better.
  • Max is rolling around EVERYWHERE! It is so exciting, but changes everything. He is so mobile and is gaining more control of his body everyday. He is conquering something new each day.
  • Mom, I am much to busy sitting to get my picture taken!

    Mid roll...

Sitiing up like a big boy. Don't worry I was right there to make sure he was stable.
  • Teeth are changing my great sleeper into a child who wakes up every 45 minutes. I feel as if I am singlehandedly keeping the coffee business afloat. I wish GB was here to share in the joy of exhaustion with me, but I am lucky to have the help of my family.
  •
I think the teething creates attitude. What do y'all think?
  • Max has discovered how awesome dogs are. My parent's labs are outside dogs for the most part, but frigid temperatures have made them inside dogs. Max just sits and laughs at them. He thinks they are way cool. So much cooler than I am.
  •
Hayden watching every move Max makes.

He just laughed and laughed at them.

  • Max now sits up in the cart at the store. We have lost a sock. Well actually several, but we have found all of them except one. I need to become one of those supermom who notices every little detail including missing socks.
Nom Nom these fingers taste good.
He loves to look around.
Oh and I am giving up wine and pepsi because I don't need the extra calories so I am beyond grumpy. Don't mess with me. Lol.

Chompers

Max's first tooth has popped through. It still has a ways to go to be fully out, but his little grin will no longer be toothless! This explains the increase in drool, spit up, and crankiness. I am pretty sure the people at the grocery store thought I was saying because I noticed while we were there and did a happy dance. That is right, I am that mom.

Never to late to share the love.

I meant to post this yesterday, but the day got away from me. So a day late, Max wants to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day! We had a very happy day. Filled with lots of rolling. That is right we are officially rolling like crazy. We mastered the back to belly roll yesterday morning and have been rolling in full circles ever since. I can't believe how many changes have happened in the past few days.

My little boy is getting so big! We don't have an appointment for the next two weeks, but I can't believe how much he has grown.

Today we went to my high school's playoff basketball game and Max was a hit. I forgot how much I love being here. I live in the most beautiful place on Earth and am very sure that moving back while GB is away is the smartest thing for me.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Valentine's Day!!!!

Scooter

Max and I are enjoying our trip so far except my sister broke her ankle today. She has to stay off of it completely until Monday when they hope to be able to cast it if the swelling has gone down. Then she will get to cruise the halls of her high school in one of these puppies...

Too legit, right?

Off we go...

We are on to bigger and better things! After a horrible not so fun day of packing, laundry, and trying to get my car working properly, I am ready for a break. On a side note, one of the reasons that I was having issues with my autostart is because Max dumped a glass of water on the remote.

Helping Mommy pack!
Max didn't get much interaction yesterday and he let me know that he was not ok with that. However, he did enjoy being hauled around in the laundry basket.

Now after an all night flight, we are sitting in the airport wide awake and happy. One step closer to seeing Grandma and Grampa!

You are starving me!

He decided he was hungry when we were on our way home last night and was so upset. However, I couldn't help, but to take a picture because he was so stinkin' cute anyway!

Feed me now!

Cuteness > Loudness

It is a good thing that cuteness outweighs the noise, because this week Max has decided it is cool to yell. All. The. Time. Not just a normal yell, but a high pitched obnoxious scream. This can be adorable, but not when you have a horrible headache. Like I said, it is a good thing he is so gosh darn cute!

There is more than the shrieking! My day consists of constant babble and adorable giggles. We are having lots of fun!

We are currently enjoying a heat wave up here in Alaska and are loving the temperatures in the teens! I can't wait for the ever increasing sunshine.

5 Months Old!

5 months ago, I was still bed bound after giving birth to a beautiful, but very puffy little boy, who was stuck in the birth canal for way too long for my liking! I can't believe how quickly time is flying by, yet can't remember what life was like before sweet Max entered our lives!

Here is our sweet boy 5 months ago!
Brand new baby!

Look at that cute face!

Awake baby!
Here is our big boy now!
We played dress up with Daddy's clothes!

So stylin'!

My first ever baseball cap!
We had so much fun (well atleast I had so much fun) dressing Max up in all of GB's old clothes. We practiced sitting and rolling over and have overall just had a great day. Max giggles are getting more and more frequent. He especially enjoys laughing at me sneezing and me brushing my teeth. We are so close to sitting up all on our own, but he gets the bobble head going so I have to be close by to help with the crashes. This age is fantastic and I am loving all his personality, not to mention those giggles and eyes!
Happy 5 months to Max!

Playing with his best friend Gus!
